Mathematical Modeling and Kinetics of Removing Metal Ions from Industrial Wastewater

The study's objective is to produce Nano Graphene Oxide (GO) before using it for batch adsorption remove heavy metals (Cadmium Cd+2, Nickel Ni+2, and Vanadium V+5) ions from industrial wastewater. temperature effect (20-50) °C initial concentration (100-800) mg L-1 on the process were studied. A simulation aqueous solution of was used identify isotherms, after experimental data collected, sorption studied kinetically thermodynamically. Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin isotherm models fit data. results showed that Cd, Ni, V GO adsorbing surface matched Langmuir model with correlation coefficients (R2) 0.999. Kinetic a pseudo-second-order followed thermodynamically, exothermic due ∆H negative, reduction in randomness because negative ∆S. additionally, spontaneous metal ∆G values influenced.
